BARBARA LOCKHART: On the craft of writing and her new short story collection

BARBARA LOCKHART is a fiction writer who has penned and published more than a half dozen books for readers of all ages. Her work has received acclaim from the Maryland State Arts Council and a silver medal from the Independent Book Publishers Association. Barbara earned her Masters of Fine Arts at Vermont College, but she made her home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a location that has routinely provided her with inspiration. Barbara joined us to discuss her new collection of short stories called The Night Is Young - released by Secant Publishing in November 2016.
