ANN FOLEY of Dogwood Ridge Books has lived on Elliott’s Island in the Chesapeake Bay for more than 30 years and undertaken the significant task of preserving the history of the island and others around it. As a freelance writer, Ann has had numerous articles and stories published by such outlets as The Washington Post, Stars and Stripes, Bay Sailor Magazine, and Chesapeake Bay Magazine.
