CARY KAMARAT
CARY KAMARAT has published two collections of poetry. A native son of Chicago, he has since moved to Ocean City and found a sailor’s delight in the local landscapes of the Atlantic and the Chesapeake. His poetry has appeared in The Federal Poet, Poets on the Fringe, Prospectus: A Literary Offering, and the District Lines Anthology. His debut collection, Travelwalk: Poems and Images, was published in 2014, and a second volume of poetry and photos, Out of Delmarva, in 2015.
"THE NOR’EASTER" is a painting by Ed Challenger which inspired Cary's poem by the same name which you can hear in the above reading clip. (Painting used with and by the artist’s permission.)
